This Privacy Policy explains how Jetton-CA.org collects, uses, retains and protects information about visitors to this site. The site is operated from Canada and is governed by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation. This policy applies to all pages on jetton-ca.org. It does not apply to third-party sites that we link to, including the operator we cover and any external resources referenced in our content. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].
Who we are
This site is operated by [Editorial Entity Inc.], a Canadian editorial publisher producing independent coverage of Jetton Casino for Canadian readers. The publisher is the data controller for personal information collected through this site under PIPEDA. Our business address and corporate registration details are available on request. For privacy-specific inquiries, the contact address is [email protected]. For general inquiries see our contact page.
What information we collect
We collect a limited set of information, in two categories.
Automatically collected when you visit the site:
- IP address (in truncated/anonymised form for analytics purposes)
- Browser type and version
- Operating system and device type
- Pages viewed on the site, in the order viewed
- Referrer URL (the previous page that linked to us, if any)
- Session duration and basic interaction events (scroll depth, link clicks)
- Approximate geographic location at the country/province level, derived from the IP address
Information you provide voluntarily:
- Name and email address, if you submit one of our contact forms
- The content of your message
- Any additional context you choose to include in correspondence
We do not collect government identifiers, financial information, payment-card data or biometric data on this site. Account creation and any payment activity at the casino itself is handled by the operator under the operator's own privacy policy, which is separate from this one.
Cookies are covered in the dedicated section below.
How we use your information
The information we collect is used for a small set of clearly defined purposes:
- To respond to inquiries. When you submit a contact form, we use your email address and message content to reply and, where appropriate, to follow up.
- To improve our content. Aggregate, anonymised analytics data tells us which pages readers find useful, which sections need clarification, and where to focus our editorial priorities. This is purely page-level analysis, not individual tracking.
- To detect and prevent abuse. Pattern-level information helps us identify automated scraping, comment spam and security threats. This is reactive rather than proactive surveillance.
- To meet legal obligations. Where required to comply with Canadian law, court orders or law-enforcement requests properly authorised under PIPEDA.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use the information collected on this site to target advertising at you on other platforms. We do not share contact-form content with the operator we cover.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses three categories of cookies. None of them are required for reading content; blocking cookies in your browser will not break the site for ordinary use.
- Essential cookies — used for site function, including remembering whether you have dismissed the affiliate-disclosure banner. These do not track behaviour and are not used for advertising.
- Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation enabled. These give us aggregate page-view and engagement data. Individual reader-level tracking is not enabled. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
- Affiliate-tracking cookies — set by our affiliate-network partners when you click an outbound
/play/link. These cookies attribute your registration at the operator back to our site so the partner can credit the referral. They are set on the partner's domain after the redirect, not on jetton-ca.org. They do not track your subsequent browsing on the operator's site beyond the registration event.
Opting out. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to control cookies on a per-site basis. We honour the Do Not Track signal where it is sent, treating it as a request to disable analytics cookies for that session. Industry-standard tools such as the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on are also effective.
Third-party services we use
We rely on a small set of vetted third-party services to operate the site. Each is selected with privacy posture as a primary consideration.
- Hosting: [Hosting Provider], with Canadian or PIPEDA-compatible data-residency arrangements.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation enabled and advertising features disabled.
- Affiliate tracking: outbound
/play/links pass through our affiliate-network partners. The current partner network is disclosed in our terms. - Email handling: inbound mail to our published addresses is handled by a standard business-grade email provider with PIPEDA-equivalent protections.
We require all third-party processors to comply with PIPEDA-equivalent standards in their handling of any data we route through them, and we review provider arrangements when material changes occur.
Data retention
We retain different categories of data for different periods, in line with their stated purpose.
- Contact-form messages and email correspondence: retained for 24 months after the last interaction, unless you request earlier deletion. Deleted thereafter unless we are required to retain them for legal reasons.
- Analytics data: retained for 14 months in Google Analytics, in aggregate form. Older data is automatically purged.
- IP logs at the hosting layer: retained for 90 days for security and abuse-detection purposes, then deleted.
Retention periods may be extended where required by Canadian law, ongoing legal proceedings, or security investigations.
Your rights under PIPEDA
PIPEDA gives you the following rights with respect to personal information we hold about you:
- Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. We will respond within the timeframe required by PIPEDA (typically 30 days) and may verify your identity before releasing data.
- Right to correction — if you believe information we hold is inaccurate or incomplete, you can ask us to correct it. We will update the record or attach a notation if we disagree.
- Right to deletion — you can request that we delete personal information we hold about you, subject to limited exceptions where retention is required by law or for ongoing legal proceedings.
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out.
- Right to file a complaint — see the Filing a complaint section below.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the request and enough information for us to identify the data in question.
Cross-border data transfer
Some of our service providers — most commonly hosting and analytics — operate from outside Canada. Where personal information is transferred outside Canada for processing, we rely on standard contractual safeguards with the provider and on the provider's compliance with PIPEDA-equivalent standards. This is typical for Canadian editorial sites. Personal information transferred outside Canada may be subject to the laws of the receiving jurisdiction, including lawful access by foreign authorities under those laws.
Children's privacy
This site is directed at adults of legal gambling age in their province (19 in Ontario and most provinces, 18 in Quebec, Alberta and Manitoba). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you become aware that a minor has submitted information through this site, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete the information promptly.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices, the services we use, or applicable Canadian privacy law change in ways that affect what we collect or how we handle it. The Last reviewed date at the top of this page reflects the most recent material change. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Filing a complaint
If you believe we have handled your personal information in a way that does not comply with PIPEDA, you can file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca or by toll-free phone at 1-800-282-1376. We would prefer that you contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly, but you are not required to do so.
Contact for privacy matters
For all privacy-related inquiries, requests under your PIPEDA rights, or questions about this policy, email [email protected]. For general (non-privacy) inquiries, see our contact page. For our Terms of Use, see the Terms of Use.
