  • Contact-form messages and email correspondence: retained for 24 months after the last interaction, unless you request earlier deletion. Deleted thereafter unless we are required to retain them for legal reasons.
  • Analytics data: retained for 14 months in Google Analytics, in aggregate form. Older data is automatically purged.
  • IP logs at the hosting layer: retained for 90 days for security and abuse-detection purposes, then deleted.

Retention periods may be extended where required by Canadian law, ongoing legal proceedings, or security investigations.

Your rights under PIPEDA

PIPEDA gives you the following rights with respect to personal information we hold about you:

  • Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. We will respond within the timeframe required by PIPEDA (typically 30 days) and may verify your identity before releasing data.
  • Right to correction — if you believe information we hold is inaccurate or incomplete, you can ask us to correct it. We will update the record or attach a notation if we disagree.
  • Right to deletion — you can request that we delete personal information we hold about you, subject to limited exceptions where retention is required by law or for ongoing legal proceedings.
  • Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out.
